Kent is an area that has many old mansions and buildings dating back centuries including the well known Leeds Castle, which is nearby. Other castles in the area include the castles of Hever, Rochester and Dover.

Blue water, one of Europe's largest Shopping malls, is located 25 minutes away. London with its many attractions is a 50 minute train journey away. A days shopping or sight seeing, dinner and a show is possible before getting a late train back to Sittingbourne station.
